The Doonesbury version

Doonesbury offers its version of the February 8th Daily Blank post in its February 13th strip. I think you'll find it here, but it maybe only today; strating tomorrow you'll probably have to look in the Doonesbury archives.

Ok I'll bite. No guns, tougher laws? People would find another way to take a life. Life is not valued. Then if someone is convicted of breaking the new gun law murders someone or several. What is the punishment? then you have all of the hoarding/stockpiling that will take place. Actually, I don't own any guns but support the right to own them. But no guns would be ok too. Killing by knives involves so much more passion and blugeoning by dull blunt objects provides a cathartic experience. So professor what say you?

I say no automatic weapons so that killing can at least revert to a retail, rather than wholesale, activity.

I could support that. I'm just wondering what new cabinent position would be created to support enforcement.

We'll just put it under the Secretary of Common Spence.
